kammerspiel piano trio
One of the UK's leading Piano Trios, Kammerspiel was
formed at the Kammerspiel Theatre in
Hamburg
in 1993.
Their
London debut led to offers to perform in the USA, Spain,
Greece, Sweden, Eire, and throughout the UK, where their
performances were greeted with great enthusiasm from
the public and critics
alike. Within a year they had secured a recording contract
with Timbre Records.
Their two recordings have received wide critical acclaim
- the second is a CD of works by Irish
composer Ian Wilson and includes two new works
commissioned by Kammerspiel, with the generous help of the
Arts Council
of Northern Ireland. With regular broadcasts on Radio 3 and
Classic FM, and an increasingly busy concert schedule both
at home and
abroad, it is
not surprising that that Kammerspiel have been described
as "one of this country's most exciting chamber ensembles."
